What is happening with this prime retail spot in the 1st floor of the Elliott building?? They have been cleaning it out for a year, and it seems like it is the last major retail spot to be all ready to go, but inexplicably empty.

i heard 6 salon [[birmingham, royal oak) is opening a location 'across the shinola hotel' according to some employees there. maybe could be that spot? or the old 'detroit is the new black' retail spot?

to be honest although 6 salon is a nice high end place, i wouldn't want that type of service retail along lower woodward. seems a better fit for capitol park. we shall see though. retail and restaraunts only for lower woodward IMO should be the look.

I've been wondering the same thing. There are no for lease signs on display and it looks like they are prepping for something. Given the open stairway to the basement, it would appear to be some kind of retail.

I would rather see a retail that will keep the flow going for lower Woodward. Structure would do good there
