    ^ sadly that is repeated in pretty much every city in the country,even more so rural towns that at least had a two block downtown that no longer exists.

    That was the original time and fuel saving efficient way of life and a part of tight knit neighborhoods.

    There is a city next to me that is trying to bring that way of life back by allowing the use of golf carts on the city streets,also the retirement community of Sun City is golf cart eccentric.

    It seems to be working because the businesses are locating closer to the neighborhoods for easy access.
