Detroit Toledo Commuters

I am curious if it is common to commute from Toledo, OH to Detroit, MI. I know its only a hour drive, less time than Flint

In winter storms it's also easier than the commute from Flint because the principal geography along the Detroit-Toledo corridor is...flat land. You also have Monroe and vicinity providing some population center scenery between the end of suburbanized Toledo just past the state line and the start of suburbanized Detroit in South Rockwood.

Not to mention, there's simply less traffic along that part of I-75 because most of the region's population is north and west of the city.

This is any time, not just during winter storms.
