I'm so tired of this rollercoaster of emotions. Preserve historical architecture.. period. It shouldn't be more complicated than that.

You get the feeling with so many issues someone at City Council reads the paper or overhears a comment in a hallway and decides, "oh maybe this does matter. we should probably look at it again."
