Default Offensive word of the day “Man”

Seriously, the bright minds at Perdue university have decided the word,Man,is now offensive.

While the guide acknowledges that "man" originally conveyed a dual meaning, referring to either adult males or humans in general, it says the terminology is now considered offensive.

In an interview a student was asked, what about businesses with the word man in them, like Goldman Sachs.

Her reply was, people should stop shopping there until they change the name.

Think of how many words use the word, man,in there, like woman.

So you cannot refer to them as a woman,or a female, the opposite sex is definitely a no no,how about if we all just become like cousin It from the Adams family?

Fox triggers its own audience with misleading viral video

The Fox "News" audience needs to take the ring out of their nose. They're being exploited.

^ maybe some are a little slow?

Still silent against accusations from assorted Fox News personalities that the West Lafayette campus had given into marching orders from politically correct forces, Purdue made a handful of changes to a tip sheet that gave recommendations about ways to avoid generic uses of “man” when another, more specific word would do.

So why would they feel the need to make the changes ?

Prime time Fox News sees 2 million veiwers out of What,64 million non leftists, who is being led around by the nose ring with the Fox news diversion tactics?

    First off .... Huh?

Second, this is not new. How long ago did we switch to terms like Police Officer, Mail Carrier, Firefighter, Congress Member and so on? Maybe the 70s?

He's telling you this is no news, but to you of course it must be. Look up the word "denial" by the way, there is a definition to it on an online dictionary, don't be shy. You'll find that making wordplay with the river Nile from a misspelling renders it pitiful, or laughable in a sad sort of way.

We can always count on the Chumpeters to carry on with the poor me white man bullshit.

^ and you can always count on the Canuckters to post in the wrong thread.

    Do try and keep up.

Why are you so racist against the white man and diverting from the topic at discussion?

Should we switch to a more mature conversation and start discussing farts ?

I may have digressed a little bit but compared to your rambling, not much.

If you insist on calling the lady from the US Post a mailman, go ahead. If you feel the need to call a 70yr old black man boy, go right ahead. What is to stop you from being entitled. You voted for Chumpty Dumpty and have a free pass at joining the cro-magnon values society.

In all of this political correctness we'll soon be devolved down to a quivering, dismal, self-loathing, weak, ineffective, contradictory, hypocritical useless blob -- all bobbled together in the tower of babble.

He [[or uh, she, non-binary or it) that controls the language, controls the mind of the people!

Don't fall for these "cultural war" distractions constantly pushed into our attention. There are much more important things going on. Stories like these are intended to re-focus our attention away from them. It's how folks are persuaded to vote against our best interests, because snowflakes, gays, abortion, immigrant invasions, feminazis, and such.
