Naw I am just doing what the news is doing and speculating and coming up with theories,because it is all I can do until the evidence is processed and the facts come out.No charge of course.

To me anyways,they are fake,if it was intended to be real the recipients would no longer be with us.

Jimaz is correct,there are no stamp canceling marks so they were never processed through the system,the red and blue wires are a nice touch,all they are doing is useing the timer to complete the circuit,so the wires would be the same color,so I have heard anyways.

You would think with PVC if it actually worked the force would take the path of least resistance and blow the end cap off like a bottle rocket.

I wonder how many google searches for pipe bomb there were in the last couple of days,even writing the words have now put this thread on a list proably.

Where are/ were the surveillance cameras! All the mail made it via USPS same day? Come on? This is nuts and dangerous should one of these devices actually go off!

You know, I'm pretty sure that the FBI/Secret Service/Police/etc aren't telling us everything they have found so far. They tend to keep back things that are really identifying so that the perpetrator doesn't up and run. So I don't know how people on here know that there was no postage, or the packages were too small for real bombs, etc. Also, plastic explosives don't need to be large to do a lot of damage. Just a thought
But, if these devices were all sent from the same post office at the same time, I would guess the guy would be fairly obvious on film, carrying 9 or 10 packages in his arms. Or, if he sent them from all different post offices, his face will show up on all the cameras within a certain time frame and they'll see him too.
It doesn't seem like this dude is the sharpest tack in the box, but you never know. I just hope he's not as smart as Ted Kaczyinski or they won't catch him for 30 yrs.

One analysis I heard is that the bomber used light-weight PVC pipe probably so he could mail it at an unmanned mailbox to avoid post office cameras.

I haven't heard about stamp cancellations revealing from where they were mailed. Someone suggested that investigators aren't likely to reveal all their clues until the culprit is apprehended. That's their first priority and they don't want to tip him off.

I think what they're going to find, is that these bombs were indeed made by some bubba-looking guy, with a poster of Trump on his wall, and a confederate flag on a stick flying in his front yard. What I don't think they're going to find, is that when this guy went to the dew-drop-inn for beer, he always sat next to some fellow no one's ever seen before, who kept telling him how the country's gone to crap, exactly who's fault it is, how "someone" ought to do some "patriotic" thing about it, encouraging him to follow through.
