Default September 15, 1954 Dodge Defends Stewardship of Fortune. Anna Thomson Dodge photo's

In 1954 Anna's granddaughter, Christine Cromwell sued to break up the H.E Dodge trust. Christine wanted her share early and the judge ruled against her. Her lawyer would talk loud to Mrs. Dodge to make it seem as if she wasn't competent enough to administer the trust. Anna's response was "Don't shout at me I can hear you!".

The furniture in the living room was brought over from Mrs. Dodge's home next door Rose Terrace. The hearing took place in the living room of H.E. Dodge Jr's house next door. Name: DODGE LARGE SCRIPT.jpg2.jpg
