Correct, like MLK, race is a non issue when it comes to a person's character as far as I am concerned.

It is an issue however when it comes to the passively aggressive and destructive agenda from the left via entiltlements which has nearly destroyed the values and structure of society for minorities.

Granted there will always be people who find loopholes [[millionaire tax cheats_whose reliance on scamming the IRS or writing off family trips for tax purposes), people who put profit over their workers living conditions, send companies overseas...etc. yeah all those who live on "entitlements" are scummy and should be left to die...maybe we should just consider wiping out public assistance especially now that the above mentioned folks created such a healthy [[oops did I say Healthy) free market economy.

One can hate Obama and Democrats and not be racist, I get that. All presidents have a segment of the population that can't stand the ground they walk on.

However in Obama'a case I see folks racism come out front and center in the name of political discourse. Yet I hear that I and others are throwing out the racism card every time racist tinged comments gets pointed out on this forum.

People don't want to realize the difference between calling GWB a murderous thug and Obama a monkey or ghetto... Other than the fact the former is true. This gives people a chance to practice their racism but hide it like I said before under the name of political discourse.

The children/ inlaws should be off limits period. The fact the conversative blogs would run those idiotic comments about the daughter tells me all I need to know about racism when it comes to the president and his family.

So the next time a poster comes on and tells us " why do you always play the race card , its not always about race" I will direct them to this thread.

While I agree that it needs to be refuted, any yutz out there that does a search for racist and president is going to be directed to the Vancouver site and this one, where they can link back to the original blog. As I said, I don't know what I find worse. On one hand, I know that it's necessary to refute this garbage, but on the other I hate to see it given more credence. It's like Fox news and their endless coverage of celebrities and their opinions or pretty blonds that have crimes committed against them. They say that they bear no weight or are heinous, but then go on and on so long that you know they're just doing it to garner ratings.

I'd like to believe that Democrats are that stealthy, but considering they can't keep the caucus together to vote on a public option with health care, I really don't think they have it in them.

Rethuglicans, however, after 8 years of treasury rape, death and destruction, the 9/11 conspiracy, then I'd put nothing past them, since fascism knows no bounds.

I doubt it. I've read the Freepers' posts on and off for years, and that site attracts more than its share hardcore wackos.

I can think of few sites that go further into the territory of disturbing misanthropy, and I won't mention them here.

What we have now is a shrinking, lathered-up base of fundamentalist right wing pod-people, and a spineless mass of jellyfish, afraid of weilding power when they have it, and trying to "make nice" when slamming heads against the wall is what is needed.

We are ripe for something, but it hasn't presented itself nationally yet.
