Default need recos for holding a retirement party in Detroit

I'm in Chicago. Going to Detroit to be w/ friends & family, having a retirement party. Normally I have these gatherings at the Traffic jam on Canfield, but I want to try something different. Would anyone know a place like TJ that has a back room that can old about 10-15 people? Thanks. Must be in Midtown or downtown because of parking and where folks are coming.

The new Founder Taproom on Charlotte has a very cool room that can be booked for private events. Their menu is smaller, but high quality.

No recommendations, but happy retirement to you! Contrary to what some young 'uns think, there IS life after retirement!

Selden Standard - does private parties.
Chartreuse - has an elevated section that is about the right size.
Ottava Via - has an outdoor area that would be about the right size.
La Féria - perhaps you can use the whole dining room off-peak.
