    Default Kahn Building Sold - Conversion into 200 Apartments Planned

    The Albert Kahn Building in New Center was sold and will convert to apartments.

    Sounds like the New Center is the next hot spot of revitalization.

    I would be interested in seeing what retail would go in there, given it's location kitty corner to the back side of The Fisher Building.

    It's located directly behind where the former Crowley's Department Store was once located, maybe a Sacks is possible in that booming area.

    That was a joke. Saks Fifth Avenue #4 Store used to be in the Albert Kahn Building.
