Default A Detroit Nocturne: Photo Collection

    Hi all,

I saw this article today, which some of you may enjoy: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.79eb4a48215d

The photographer, Dave Jordano, was born in Detroit in 1948 and graduated from the CCS in 1974.

Good stuff. I'll keep away from that building with the crumbling brick overhead. [[Not a problem, I guess, from here in Nevada.......)

Great photos, particularly the "church rectory" eastside.

I've been watching Jordano's site for several years as he adds his new works to it. His twelve "Detroit Unbroken Down" series from 2010-2015 that show mostly portraits of city dwellers are amazing. https://davejordano.com/detroit-unbroken-down

I had not seen Jordano's other work. I looked through some of it today and it is fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
