I'm excited for this. It is one of those buildings that is SOOOO ugly be you can sort of see a butterfly in there somewhere, waiting to come out. And yes I am thrilled it is beyond downtown. Albeit slowly, the rebirth is definitely permeating lots of areas of the city.

SER Metro-Detroit's YouthBuild Learning Academy sounds like a great organization. Many complain about the shortage of skilled workers in Detroit. I'm happy to see some are designing programs to help bridge that gap.
