You really have to wonder though, considering the currant political climate in the United States against illegal immigration, would you as a citizen in another country be sitting there thinking, yea now is a good time to enter the US illeagly?

Not only to do it,but make it well known and loudly that you were going to do it?

Somebody with motive is behind this showdown, with the orchestration and funding of it.

Yes, that is exactly correct. And that's exactly how Bush and Obama used National Guard deployments on the border.

I prefer to look at aggregate polling data, rather than just cherry-picking the one poll out of a dozen that makes Trump look good, as you did.

Even Trump-loving Fox News only has Trump at 45% approval.

Ah, yes, after you asked which poll I referred to and the answer kept getting worse, its time to dilute it. But even if you go to Real Clear Politic's combined polls, including those that are less recent and did much worse in 2016, Trump's rating has steadily crept up 4.5% since December.

When you have the lowest approval rating in modern U.S. history, there's nowhere to go BUT up. Fact: No President since WWII has had first year approval ratings as low as Donald Trump. He is, quite literally, the least popular President in modern times.

RCP aggregate approval rating: 41.5% approve, 53.5% disapprove. Hey, do you think that might have something do with the fact that Democrats keep winning special elections in Trump country as of late? There was another one just two days ago, Democrats flipped a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Liberal candidate Rebecca Dallet won by 12 percentage points over conservative Michael Screnock, who was heavily backed and funded by the NRA. Trump won Wisconsin in 2016.

But you're right oladub, Trump is super popular and is only getting more so. Hang your hat on that in the 2018 midterms. 215 days to go, I guess we'll find out in due course which one of us is correct.

Wrong, the Rasmussen poll I cited shows that Obama's polling numbers were 5% points below Trump's at the same point in Obama's presidency. Changing the topic to energized Democrats whose main campaign issue seems to be hating Trump and despising US workers showing up in recent elections does not make your failed point that "No President since WWII has had first year approval ratings as low as Donald Trump."

Like I said, WORST first year polling of any President since they started doing approval rating polling. Do you need more links than that, or is that enough links for you?

I remember when all of the polls said that Hilliary was going to win the election by a landslide.

Has anybody here actually ever been polled? I have not been in the 57 years I have been around,I think that they are just doing shots of tequila in some strip club coming up with pole results.

Multiple links are credible because the UP posts a poll and 10 newspapers copy it,so it now becomes 10 different sources of facts and adds credibility?

I chose, instead, to link to this week's Rasmussen poll showing Trump's approval rate as high as 51%; five points higher than that of Obama at the same point in his sorry administration and up from a Trump low of 39% last July. Thank you though for the history.
