Default Suggestions for Easter Brunch/Buffet for 2018 out of town visitors?

Anyone have any luck finding a list or can recommend a reasonable spot for Easter Sunday Brunch/Buffet for 2018?
Middle of the road pricing is fine, would like a buffet style suitable for a couple of pre teens to attend. No casinos and not looking for a "white table cloth" experience this time!

Kuzzo Chicken and Waffles on Livernois. Seems like everyone wants to direct you toward the typical tourist traps that have a location in every major city. Try something that's not served at a chain restaurant served by underpaid slaves. Granity City and Hard Rock are blah, boring and typical cliche of where you "should" go while out of town. Support local businesses so local businesses stay in business, there's plenty of them.

Hudson Cafe has the best breakfast/brunch downtown by a mile. That would be my suggestion. However make sure you get a reservation if possible. The average wait is about an hour on an ordinary Sunday.

I second Granite City as another good option. As for the comment above about granite city being corporate blah...keeping That business alive keeps many Detroiters employed. Although the company may not be local, the jobs sure are.

As a rule I always review restaurants ahead of time. Especially if I have a larger party, special event or during holiday when they'll be busy. You need to know in ADVANCE how service adapts or doesn't. Sometimes I get ideas on what dishes to try/ avoid.

^^^ Yes, whatever you choose forget the indifferent touristy joints who never seems to have enough staff with lackluster, expensive food to boot!

Has anyone been to Cliff Bell's for brunch in the last few years? I was thinking about taking mom there.

Honest Johns. Breakfast burritos and 40s of Black Label.

While not as highly publicized as the Last Supper, I'm pretty sure this is what Jesus had for his First Breakfast after rising from the dead.

Hah! The food there is great over all! Nothing fancy, just good eats with the tan and caramel colored cool adult beverages!

They serve every one in the ren cen at lunchtime, including getting high traffic from area hotels. They and everyone that works there is not hurting for business I any way what-so-ever.

Like I said, support Detroit bases business and stop running to corporate chain restaurants all the time. If your guests are from out of town, show them what Detroit has to offer, not more chains.

I would never in a million years bring my out-of-town guests to Hard Rock Cafe, It basically says to them [[and me) that you did not put in one ounce of planning or thought into the arrangements.

Take them to Starters! Uh, not : [[

As I said I try to review first and sometimes I find cool menu items to try!

Service means alot especially when you have a large group.

Colors, located downtown, has a nice Mother's Day Brunch. They'll probably have one for Easter, too. Not sure when it gets officially announced, though.
