Ronald Ilitch, son of former Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings owner Mike Ilitch, has been found dead in a hotel room in Troy, sources told Local 4.

While I'm sure Ronnie would not have been left out, I'd expect that a shrewd businesswoman like Marion was able to direct family wealth directly to grandchildren and such as necessary.

But his death is certainly newsworthy. The I's are a self-made, Detroit success story with national impact.
