    Default The original Windmill Point Lighthouse?

    I'm assuming this is the original Windmill Point Lighthouse in the background as this seaplane was serviced by my grandfather who lived in Detroit. I also assume this is not the William Scripps/Dodge Brothers seaplane as theirs was even more 'crude' [[earlier looking version) than this one. I'd also assume this photo is c. 1914-1917, the 'Scripps' seaplane is in photos from 1912. I'm not sure of the name of the brothers listed there, anyone recall that name or can figure out what it is?

    Yep, that's the one I saw too. This was a place they mostly used for that one too as they owned land in the area from what I understand. So it's this one I'm trying to research.
