    Default MDEQ takes 5 days to report sewage overflow

    Is our MDEQ technologically behind the times ?

    Warren is in the top 5 largest cities in Michigan
    and MDEQ has its SouthEast offices
    at 27700 Donald Court, Warren, MI 48092-2793

    Macomb residents need to wait 5 days to get info
    about what was released into the Clinton River ?

    It's easy to see the Clinton River doubled in size,
    twice, the last few days from stormwater

    Another good source for flood data is http://water.weather.gov/ahps/.

    You can zoom in on a particular gauge and click it to get a graph.

    When there's a flood expected, they often add a forecast to the graph.

    There's a lot of other info there too.

    Let's be clear here - MDEQ focuses on Combined Sewage Overflows
    http://www.deq.state.mi.us/csosso/ev...dSubmit=Submit

    The USGS focus on stormwater [[aka rain) primarily
    But takes into account additional flow from Sewage Overflows.

    People tend to get stuff mixed up
    Sewer = toilet
    Stormwater = rain

    Be careful what you call a sewer - that metal grate in the street is NOT for people sweeping feces off the street into the drains, sooo 18th century.
    It's for rain off the impervious surfaces around town.

    Is everyone really buying this BS from the MDEQ ?

    http://www.deq.state.mi.us/csosso/ev...dSubmit=Submit

    The Clinton River doubles in size, literally twice from Oct 11 to the 15th,
    and the rain retention basin aka 12TownsDrain only has a small release ?

    I'll let the general public decide for themselves :
    What does 1 inch, or 1.5 inches of rain = _____ ????
    [[how many millions gallons of combined sewer release into the Red Run)
