    Does anyone know whats up with the stench coming from the pumping station at Fox Creek? I really feel sorry for anyone living or doing business downwind.

    That "stench" has been around there for as long as I can remember.

    That stench has been present for at least 50 years. Most likely longer than that.

    If only we had the money to daylight some of these forgotten streams...

    Sounds good in theory, but I think the gradient of those streams might be an issue. There's very little drop from the outskirts of the city to the river. So any rivers/streams there were very likely very slow moving. Slow moving streams combined with runoff of a populated area and the reason they were covered over in the first place would become apparent rather quickly.
