    Reports are saying that he was found Sunday in full cardiac arrest and was taken off of life support today.

    I may have spoken too soon. Several conflicting reports.

    RIP Tom....The man had it right....'The Waiting' has always been the hardest part.

    Officially died last night.

    Two cars parked on the over-pass,
    rocks hit the water like broken glass.
    I should have known right then it was too good to last,
    God it's such a drag when you're living in the past !

    Late to chime in, but Tom Petty was one of those guys I took for granted as a rocker. Yet, it takes something like this for me to look back and say he was on the level, and it's sad to see him go [[yet, also odd how the news kind of jerked us back and forth one his death notice).
