Hardly..."this" Doctor, already in legal and licensure jeopardy territory, already involved in fraud, in deep financial trouble, likely ideologically a raging liberal, without the courage of the convictions of the oath that he took and getting 150K a month to sell his soul. Now, he is going to have to pay up on that contract for his soul.

I don't think politicizing this tragedy is at all constructive. Money is the root of all evil and whether or not we have nationalized health care or our current health care, money talks.

In other words, had this been post health reform doctor still would have taken the money because well, thats a hell of a lot of money.

A deplorable Doctor, agreed, but a Doctor, nonetheless. A free-enterprise, free-lance Doctor pandering to the rich. There's your sacred "individual freedom" in action, bats.

And your statement that he is "likely ideologically a raging liberal" is specious and without supporting evidence. I think it more likely he is an ideologically raging capitalist entrepreneur using the "invisible hand" of the market to maximize his return on investment.

For someone who's self-admitted as only being in practice for the money, you should be envious, not censurous.

This is a case of the patient being his own doctor. Jackson's most recent doc was just the most recent stooge in a long line of stooges that did Jackson's bidding. No sane doc would do all that plastic surgery ... Jackson himself directed those procedures.

History is rife with super-powerful who direct their own health-care, usually to their detriment. Howard Hughes, stands out as a massively wealthy crazy man. Walt Disney was another. Money killed Jackson.

SIgh...this Doctor is alleged to have broken the law, and will be punished if convicted. Said law is the cornerstone of a free and capitalist society. You have it backwards as do most liberals. It is not the system that committed the crime, it is the individual [[likely a liberal at that) who violated the system who is to blame and to be held responsible.
