Is the word weaponization somewhat dirty, all of a sudden?

Also, check except and accept, they are both antithetical. Second time I warn you about this.

Your Democratic leaning republic has made a lot of Socialist Politicos and Union leaders disappear in other countries, by proxy or surreptitiously. Nothing to brag about.

^ you guys end a sentence with “a” “eh” What is that?

Just so we are clear,if in the future Canada goes full socialist and your neighbors start disappearing in the night to the tune of 100s of thousands, your preference would be that we just sit back and say, suck it up snowflake you reap what you sow?

Notice how China has been embracing capitalism?

Socialism only works when you can control every aspect of your subjects life, one way or the other.

Be quiet child! Let the adults talk.

You have absolutely no clue what you are at talking about.

Democratic socialism and communism are not the same thing.

Political and economic systems are 2 discrete ideas.

If you don't know that, which you don't despite having been told multiple times, you are unfit to participate in this conversation.

Meh you are okay and when the likes of Canadian Visitor gets their wish and convert you guys to full blown socialism and you start disappearing in the night, even if I am older and in a wheel chair,I will roll up there and help you.

We may not always agree on everything and some of your countrymen need to discover Duct tape but when it comes to tyranny we will always have your back.

Hopefully it will be in the summer months,to cold in the winter.

Uh-oh. According to Vice and Vox, Joe Rogan is alt-right adjacent! Is Bernie courting the white supremacist vote now?

I've listened to Rogan a few times and I didn't hear anything "alt right" about him. Bernie stayed on his usual message which doesn't include racism.

Just a little pat on the back to those who believe the world of Politics married to high finance can be turned around, and maybe Bernie, if given a chance can be the one to operate that change...

Krystal Ball: Debunking the myth that Bernie Sanders is unelectable

This time around I haven't heard anyone claim there's a name recognition problem for Sanders.

His detractors have solved that problem for him.

Good lord,I made through 3.5 minutes anyways.

I see some of his talking points and think, does he really know what is going on?

Tampa was awarded 53 million under the skills training program, anybody can sign up,no diploma needed and even included advanced technology training for those looking to advance even further in thier careers.

So the current president beat him to what he is already proposing.

I was trying to find out if Michigan’s government took advantage of that program but could not find anything.

Tampa is as blue as babe the blue ox and they still practice keeping everybody in their little sectors but at least when the feds throw a dime they do grab that.

Bernie Even said it there,he has been practicing for 40 years, but yet.

I am waiting for the New Hampshire results with Bernie verses Warren.

Sometimes feeling the burn can get you burned.

Granted I agree with little he has to say,but disagree even more with what happened last time, weather I personally agree with him or not he has that right, that part I would always support.

Their trying it a different way did not seem to work well in California where 10s of thousands ended up sleeping in the streets.

Grand social experiments have a tendency to leave lots of people in thier wake and it never seems to be the politicians that push for the changes suffering.

“The margin by which we lost the African-American vote has got to be — at the very least — cut in half or there simply is no path to victory,” the team wrote in the memo, which was reviewed by The New York Times. Mr. Sanders had won 14 percent of the black vote there compared with 86 percent for Hillary Clinton, according to exit polls.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/17/u...-outreach.html

Does it question ones sincerity when the motivation was because of lost vote margins?

He keeps pushing the whole,we are the richest country in the world so we should do this or that, capitalism is what makes us the one of the richest countries in the world, the very thing he wants to remove,so we can then be like the poorest

^^^ Yeah looks like that last effort had more than a few black supporters once again 'handled' and not really appreciated or given wide breadth in what they could do campaign wise. That must improve if he wants to win.

Setting Bern aside, according to some, historically [[pro and con) socialism has always been a part of the black narrative here in the US. So that will garner some support:

    https://truthout.org/articles/social...can-tradition/

Socialism has never been a movement mostly for and by white men. It has a long and rich tradition within Black communities and other communities of color in the U.S., and within feminist organizing. And globally speaking, the majority of socialists are not white.

We see that eh, Cardi B had her moment with Sanders - not an 'influencer' for me. Here's an interview with Atlanta talk host rapper Killer Mike:

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...o_be_rich.html

Per this interview Sanders was able to well argue his position on the health care and the wealth equality issue. Healthcare-for-all being a big campaign platform promise of his. Healthcare is certainly a problem in Detroit!

    Not be forgotten re. Detroit:
Traditionally, and culturally [[and not just the baby-boomers) many black Detroiter's still identify as Christian, unapologetically -- not as post-modern secularists. My family, for example, have almost all been 'traditional' democrats, now taking another look at the parties socialist leanings.

We get the difference between academe smarts and wisdom -- acknowledging the role of traditional liberalism in the civil rights struggle. Yet remain reticent to follow every road the far left now presents paired with the assumption that our democratic vote is to be assumed.

It will also be interesting to see how Sanders new campaign mingle and mangles, to reach African American Detroiter's rich in understanding the impact of politics upon civil rights, and social culture.

We're cynical of BS, and very wary of people coming in hot of promises, sculpting speeches for us, then off to the next.

    https://www.voanews.com/usa/us-polit...ack-christians

"Anybody who's not talking to every community, particularly within the African American community, you're running a fool's race,'' said the Rev. Leah Daughtry, a pastor from Washington, D.C., and member of the Democratic National Committee, who co-moderated the Black Church PAC forum.

Three other 2020 candidates - Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, former Obama housing chief Julian Castro and Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana - attended the conference on Friday. Booker and California Sen. Kamala Harris are the most prominent black candidates in the 2020 race.

Mike McBride, a pastor who was Daughtry's fellow moderator, stressed that the black church and the black community as a whole are not monolithic....

I kinda feel that they try and segregate the African American community by telling them about everything that is wrong then try and come across as thier savior.

Its like telling them that they need me in order to overcome the insurmountable odds stacked against them.

Before they slammed freeways through them there were extremely self sufficient African American communities that went back as far as the 1920s.

I think that is why they underestimated the African American vote in 2016,because they stood up at the polls and said,we do not need you to save us,we are perfectly capable of doing it on our own.

Or like you say you are cynical of BS,but some politicians seem a little slow at recognizing that.

^^^Hah! Check this out: the black perspective from what I've learned dovetails in a not so small percentage to that of some latino/ hispanic voters!

They too are not en-mass obliged to the post-modernism [[hook, line and sinker), intellectualism and requirements therein. Not all full-out secular; and also will not follow the far left down every road on areas of values and policy. Heck I bet all aren't all dance-happy about the illegal situation. Particularly those who immigrated via the legal US immigration process. Though I can get the conflict there considering family member ties as they have occurred.
