Sorry,no diplomas or degrees for me,I thought about it at one time but they said I already had enough credits for a four year degree and the rest was a formality, seemed like a lot of work for a piece of paper that apparently proves nothing.

Cats taste like chicken,so no need for a litter box.

    Do you have anything else?

I am starting to see your light about the Republicans though, the newly elected one here decided to send 35 million to Tampa for Skills and manufacturing training, got the Dems all worked up because it kills the whole keep em broke and voting aspect.

Then Trump decided to sign something that starts cleaning up our oceans.

What are these guys thinking anyways?

An expected spring-board response per the odious Trump. Joyful.

Only the presence of a Trump could make Sanders a consideration...... IMO.

Do you think Hillary will donate her $27 ?

It is early yet but this time around he has some competition, maybe he can get some assistance from the Russians and even the odds out?

Interesting how the conservative Democrats are pushing hard to not make it about Trump, wise move, but my guess is outside of Bernie the rest will base it on get Trump lines.

I do not agree with everything Bernie but he does have a little class and I think he will avoid falling into that trap.

Even so,I am sure President Trump will get em all riled up in short order.

Cortez's win was based on extremely low voter turnout, they had a choice of a dem or socialist and it would seem as though the majority wanted neither so they just did not vote.

You seem to not be aware that Bernie is more popular than any of the "competition". He still has his base of supporters from last time. He is the clear front runner. [[But the media will probably continue to push Biden or Harris).

I may have cast my vote for Bernie had he been on the ballot in 2016, but IMO it's simply too late. All other factors aside, Senator Sanders will be 79 years old in November of 2020. At that age there are few men that can even handle full time employment, barely any that could last through a Presidential campaign, and next to none that could handle the strain of actually being President. He was cheated out of his only chance to hold the office, and that's something he just has to accept.

    Good luck with all this.

Bernie had his chance, and lost. This time he's one of a bunch of democratic socialists, meaning his support will be diluted.

He's also way too old. 80-yo incoming President? He could conceivably be President till almost 90?

I'm guessing it will be Beto or Biden. Neither are perfect but either would probably win. Bloomberg would be even better, but I doubt he runs, and if he did, I don't think he could make it through Dem primary.

You're right. Bernie is too old. However, he would unite the Democratic Party as a VP choice. My hope is that he Tulsi Gabbard's VP. Maybe we could at least avoid some new wars.

This is not likely to happen given the corporate press supporting neither Gabbard nor Bernie. Example: this Newsweek article is titled Kamala Harris Surges into Lead among Democratic candidates. It's a puff piece. Last year, Weinstein's casting couch was criticized. Now we have Kamala Harris having moved up the ladder, it seems, by using a politician's casting couch. No matter, she might have the right positions to appeal to the defense industry and other corporate interests. Biden would be another top establishment choice should he run although he is the same age as Bernie. Tulsi Gabbard wasn't even listed. Bernie had a respectable 16% but we know what happened to him last time.

^^^ Uh, um, yep, he's too old as the culture's turning against the aged from within the socialist partition of the dem party. Pelosi's on the run too! Increasingly the judgement is that the aged cannot fully push the agendas that will be met with push-back from many [[and not just the repubs mind you).

In some ways Bern's the granddad of the social marxism's ideology engendered in current US politics and education. Yet, the same younger gen who've embraced his world-view [[ignoring historical realities that Sanders has to know), may turn on him for his age. He may continue to champion social marxism. But the new socialist dem set IS the young persons game to win, or loose.

I don't think it's a culture that is "Turning against the aged"[[The 2016 election featured two of the oldest candidates in history). We're talking about someone that wants to be President in their 80's. There are both physical and mental limitations for almost everyone once they reach that age. It's not a great topic, but also the wildcard that statistically it's basically a 50/50 that he would even live through the a hypothetical first term, let alone be able to keep up with the demands of the office.

Yes, perhaps not. Trumps not a youngster, but between the two, IMO he presents far more hale to the physical demands of the job and, he's already in at his age. Not starting a presidency at 80!!

Yet we have the backdrop of FDR, valiantly striving beyond his polio affliction, etc. was pretty hale and strong until that third and fourth term; then died in office! So, yes age and health is a factor.

If Bernie is "too old" so is Biden. He is only one year younger!
Bernie is healthy so I don't think his age is an issue.

Biden is three years younger. And he isn't hunched over and hard-of- hearing like Bernie.

And, yes, he's also too old. But at least he's a Democrat, and he would probably win.

    https://heavy.com/news/2019/02/berni...ons-3-million/

Sanders campaign has shattered donation records in less than 24 hours. His campaign spokesman has announced that they raised more than $3.3 million from more than 120,000 individual donors, less than 24 hours after he announced that he was running for President of the United States.
