Default Taco Bell - On Premise Liquor Licence?

Taco Bell is opening one of their new restaurants – which will eventually serve alcohol [[maybe) in Royal Oak. Taco Bell is opening a few hundred of these restaurants across the country. Designed specifically for cities experiencing urban revitalization, finding themselves occupied by young urban professionals – nod to the new residents in downtown Detroit. Taco Bell has reduced the environmental footprint of the properties, plus added open kitchen designs, accompanied by local décor, merchandise, and liquor [[club Taco Bell). Downtown Detroit is the perfect fit. I’ll try of one of their Margaritas.

Metro Times is reporting this morning: “the chain has not yet applied for a liquor license at the city level” according to Royal Oak's Downtown Development Authority.

Since Taco Bell is where you go after a night of drinking, it's good marketing I guess - 2 birds with one stone.

You kinda have to feel bad for millennials when all they have to look forward to is getting drunk on tequila and singing La cucaraha at Taco Bell at 2 am.

Is it really necessary to have drunks every where?

I wonder if they'll have food made out of something other than various combinations of the same 5 heavily processed ingredients?

It's a natural fit for downtown Royal Oak.

Every weekend I drive for Uber, and every weekend I get three or four requests to stop at a Taco Bell on the way. Too true!
