There was some story on the radio the other day about one Korea making some conciliatory gestures toward the other. I think it had something to do with the Olympics.

But what was really interesting was that Trump wasn't mentioned at all.

Was Trump bypassed? Did he have no comment on the subject?

He does not need to,he already made it clear,we are not going to roll over and be subject to blackmail anymore. That was his job,be strong.

He drew the line in the sand and now it is up to the others to decide where it goes from there.

The wako sent his little sister there to represent, which means nothing because he already killed the rest of his family and she is just a piece of lead away from being reliable.

Just kind of interesting how N Korea is acting all reconciliatory after their Nuke development site collapsed on itself about a month ago.

Well that is a relief, everybody said the currant president was starting ww3 so I was not sure if I should build my bomb shelter underground or abouve ground sense everybody also says that the state will be covered with 20ft of water due to global warming, life decisions can be tough.

I guess rewarding a bully with billions in order to pacify was not as productive as calling his bluff.

Just what exactly do you think Kim Jong Un is going to ask for in exchange for "peace"? Answer: TENS OF BILLIONS of dollars in food and energy aid, sanctions relief, and the unfreezing of assets.

If Trump cuts a deal with North Korea, it will be the Iran Deal on steroids.

Or maybe Trump cuts no deal with North Korea, in which case Trump walks away with nothing and Kim Jong Un walks away with the President of the United States having flown to North Korea, shook Kim's hand and smiled and said nice and flattering things about him while news cameras captured every moment of it for global public consumption, thus legitimizing Kim as the rightful leader of a nuclear-armed nation. Who wins in that scenario?

But here's a spoiler alert for you: under no circumstance is Kim going to give up a bunch of stuff in exchange for nothing, just because Trump is such a big scary tough guy who browbeat him into submission. That is absolutely not going to happen.

Trump is playing right into Kim Jong Un's hands. He's playing Trump like a fiddle. Trump is going to give Kim the greatest propaganda coup of all time and Kim has to give up almost nothing for it.

That's why the whole "North Korea agrees to stop nuclear testing" thing was always just propaganda BS. Of course they stopped nuclear testing, their nuclear test site collapsed from too many nuclear explosions and is now unusable. It will take them months to dig out a new underground testing site, maybe longer.

Not that it really matters. We know they've successfully tested a hydrogen bomb. They don't really NEED to do anymore tests at this point, they have a working design for a thermonuclear bomb. Any tests after that point are just for the purpose of sending a message to the world.

^ well since Mrs Clinton brokered our uranium to Russia who supplies Iran who in turn supplies Korea there is really no need to test anymore, because they can just be supplied by others.

Of course the currant president had nothing to do with the currant situation,no way no how,it did not happen.

I already wrote to you that I agree with you 100% let's nuke em now and be done with it and move on.

Read the back history starting with when Mr Clinton was president, even then president Bush offered them the necessary materials and funds to build nuclear power plants.

It is about our missle defense systems and our troop presence there,I am kind surprised that people are for bringing our troops home from across the regions until it comes to Korea, why is that?

Because maybe nobody trusts him,so you only have two options, turn him to dust or broker an end to the stand off.

It does not matter though, we can still rain down missles from afar, the only difference is it would be reactive instead of proactive and at that point we are at war,and not in a nice way.

We cannot keep kicking the can down the road to the inevitable and the time to solve it is now, ugly or pretty pick one.

That was the message that was sent.

Who knows maybe he will chill out for the next 6 years while the currant president is in office and then try it again with the next one.

Not to worry. Your esteemed Leader will leave nothing to chance. You can be confident he’s already had Rudy slip them $130,000, of his own money [[that’s Trumps, not Kim’s) to ensure that Kim will swear he’s never had Nuclear relations with anybody; including a mountain, before or after he was erected.

The deal will include a Trump Tower in Pyongyang and a Wall on the Chinese boarder to keep the Mexicans out of both China and NK.

The funniest part of that is that there is a giant, empty tower in Pyongyang that gets edited out of photos because they could never finish it. AND, there is a wall [[or at least, heavy duty fencing) along the Chinese border, erected by China to keep the North Koreans out.

I think that is the only reason China gets involved, they would be flooded with refugees if something happened, they do not exactly greet them with milk and cookies.

Thier resettlement program is when everybody is at work they go in and bulldoze the houses down, with no warning.

Outside of that North Korea reportedly has over 6 trillion usd worth of rare earth minerals,China currently controls 95% of that market, the demand is going up because of the driverless cars and batteries.

With North Korea they have a cheap labor force to extract the minerals with no safety concerns,it kinda works in their favor for N Korea to not play nice or stay desolate.

Trump just cancelled the peace summit with Kim Jong Un:

And to think, the Administration already spent money on all those medallions to commemorate this historic event. I hope they can get their taxpayer-funded deposit back.

Lots of interesting tidbits coming out now, including that Trump cancelled the summit because he felt Kim was going to cancel, so he beat him to the punch to avoid looking weak. And some insider intrigue, namely that it was noted neoconservative warhawk and new National Security Adviser John Bolton who was whispering in Trump's ear to sabotage the summit.

Interesting to see Bolton win this first battle of wits. Apparently Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was pushing hard to make this summit happen only for Bolton to undermine him. Remember that latest round of tit-for-tat sabre ratting got started when Bolton made comparisons of North Korea giving up its nukes to Libya and Gaddhafi [[who was ousted and killed by a Western-backed coup after he gave up his chemical weapons stockpile in a deal with the U.S.).

Anyways, it's actually probably for the best. Trump was getting played like a fiddle by Kim, just like he's getting played and beaten by China in the trade war. Trump is in over his head, he doesn't know what he's doing and has zero diplomatic tact, and our enemies are capitalizing on his inexperience and general laziness/incompetence. As for China, look no further than the ZTE deal to see how the Chinese are masterfully manipulating Trump.

You know things are going well when the aj3746’s of this world have to make up a bunch of unsubstantiated crap to assure themselves we’re “all gonna die” because of Trump.

aj represents the quality of people that gave us President “waste a space” for 8 years. Suck it up aj. You don’t know the difference between masterfully manipulating and bowing behind red lines.
