    Default Hold the Glitz. GM Ditches LED Wall Encasing People Mover

    A planned 70-foot by 80-foot LED wall that was to encase the Detroit People Mover station at the RenCen has been dropped from GM's ongoing RenCen renovations scheduled to be finished at the end of the year. No reasons cited.

    It's been pretty obvious for a while that GM's in penny pinching mode.

    So this was probably nixed for no other reason than a cost savings.
