    Default We Made the list ... of most expensive big cities to live in

    I found this on curbed.
    Well we made a list of most expensive big cities to live in.
    Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
    The top cities are the most desirable for younger people though.

    Not "cheapest" per se, but the best bang for your buck.

    There are very few places [[if any) besides Michigan where you have a plethora of big city amenities at dirt cheap prices [[having a say, $75K income, and you're living like a king).

    Agree. Michigan is in a perfect storm if you're a decent Engineer [[especially Software or Electronics) with an appetite to live it up.

    COL is relatively low and there's a severe shortage of talent after the mass exodus to the south in the early 2000's. That's driving salaries significantly up on new hires
