Default Is there a hostel in Detroit or nearby?

I wrote WSU to find out if they have dorm housing for rent during the summer; no reply.
So I'm looking for a less than hotel-rate stay in Detroit or nearby.
    Suggestions?

Wayne State does have apartments for rent during the summer. You would need to contact housing.

Call them. Do not email. Call 313-577-2116 ask for Chris Bowen. When you get her voice mail: Leave specific information. Dates, times you can be contacted, speak slowly and repeat your name and phone number. S l o w l y.

THey just returned my call. They only have DBL rooms available. Singles filled up in February.

Summer housing is $22.50 a night. You must be out by August 13.

They have five spots still available.
