Exactly. "Here's a few fish for you. Don't forget elections are this Tuesday, if you want more fish."

    There are no easy answers".

I think there is an easy long term answer Richard. Instead of paying them to have children, pay them (more?) to not have children. After a few generations of not reproducing more of themselves to be poor they will gradually "die out" and those left will be "rich". The savings in costs of not having an ever increasing poor population would be phenominal; housing, schools, police, health, jails, food et al.

The democrats will never do it because they want their votes.

Just imagine going to the local "Non Procreation Office" and making a claim that you want payments for not having 6 kids and your neighbor comes in and and trumps you by claiming she's not going to have 12. I suppose you could even elect somebody to not have 'em for you, so you can still have the fun but without the consequences of losing your Non Procreation payments.

Probably the Authorities could base the maximum number of kids you can't have on a formula of one every two child bearing years from 10 to 60. (Bloody hell; I think I'd sign up for that, and I'm a male!)

And of course if you happen to slip occasionally and get knocked-up; instead of getting a Child Allowance you lose one.

It obviously has to be thought out or we won't spend enough money and the rich will get richer.

China has a one child population control policy and is now teaming up with the UN and considering implementing it in Africa.

There seems to be some Americans that prefer the socialist aspect so this would fit right up thier alley.

Some of my customers have C-stores in the hood and the one close to me showed me where a woman that has 9 kids recieves $5000 per month on her card excluding housing.

She drives around in a newer Mercedes and wears the best of everything, that is really an example of one and not indicative of everybody, but really that is equal to five families receiving $1000 per month.

It makes one really wonder about it all.

Was the Mercedes built in the "good old" or abroad?

Unless the main course is Soylent Green, then the discussion would be about appetizers.

I see that kind of thing in Detroit all the time. I used to see it in Dearborn when I lived on that side of town. Party store owners would take food stamps for alcohol then the wives would go shopping @ the market with them, all decked out.

They had alarms, you can hear them in the vids, the biggest problem was that tenants were told that in case of fire to stay in your unit, personally if my house is on fire I do not care what anybody says,I am out of there.

Sprinklers of lack of were grandfathered in like it is here in the states according to the year the property was built.

    .
The building was rehabbed in the past couple of years and they still chose not to put sprinklers in. It should be a requirement. The highly flammable material was put on the exterior during the remodel, so they ended up making the building more dangerous instead of safer. Even if you only care about dollars and cents this was foolish because now replacing the whole building is going to cost them more than doing a proper rehab.

I saw interviews with many of the residents. They weren't all recent immigrants so I don't know where you got that from. Not that it matters, nobody deserves to be burned alive.

There should be a mandatory side affect warning on ALL bottles of wine that "2 or more glasses of Wine from this bottle can result in pregnancy".

The numbers I read were 720 people living in a 120 unit apartment building. In Minneapolis, this similar size apartment building originally built to house local poor people is now almost entirely occupied by Somali immigrants although Minneapolis probably is better about zoning enforcement... well maybe except for the bridge. The taxpayers of Minneapolis probably never expected the nice high rise they built to house local poor people to be used to accommodate the third world either. London probably had scarce funds to do the job right.

They are cracking down with technology, one guy showed me the 72 counts of fraud he was hit with which was over 80,000 in 3 months.

They tracked every transaction and recorded it from purchases at sams club.

His penalty was repay the 80k and lose the ability to except food stamps.
So they just transfer the store ownership name into a relatives name and continue on.

Another way is to use the card and they buy a pack of gum or a blunt and ring it as $100 worth of goods then pay back in cash 50c on the dollar.

But they are also stopping that by surprise audits where sales have to match inventory, they really know how to squeeze the dollar out.

The main spice pot guy made 12,000,000 in one year, they never busted him or most of the store owners, just all of the little guys.

Before the computers were linked you could collect benefits in Puerto Rico,New York and Fla at the same time, once the computers linked up they put a stop to that real quick.

But unless one gets into the really big numbers they really do not press charges,my X wife scammed $8,000 with the EITC,all they did was deduct it from her future tax refunds.

There are some that really are pretty good at working the system and get away with it.

Looks like 10 million pounds doesn't get you much these days.

Are the Republicans working hard to pay economically disadvantaged people to not have kids?

I don't think either party is working hard @ anything but keeping themselves in office.

That's why the big issues never got resolved outside of a 4 or 8 year plan, they were long term stewing problems that have now come to head.

    Back on topic!

    https://theintercept.com/2017/06/27/...russia-threat/

Three prominent CNN journalists resigned Monday night after the network was forced to retract and apologize for a story linking Trump ally Anthony Scaramucci to a Russian investment fund under congressional investigation. That article — like so much Russia reporting from the U.S. media — was based on a single anonymous source, and now, the network cannot vouch for the accuracy of its central claims.
    .....
But CNN is hardly alone when it comes to embarrassing retractions regarding Russia. Over and over, major U.S. media outlets have published claims about the Russia Threat that turned out to be completely false — always in the direction of exaggerating the threat and/or inventing incriminating links between Moscow and the Trump circle. In virtually all cases, those stories involved evidence-free assertions from anonymous sources that these media outlets uncritically treated as fact, only for it to be revealed that they were entirely false.

Major who is a reporter for CBS and a press room reporter has a podcast that shows on CBSN.

My first time watching it I was leary because he always in the past has come across to me more anti President Trump, but they were more on a anti biased base with this.Which was refreshing.

This weeks guest was Mr Shultz who was Mr. Obamas press secretary and currently retains the position as Mr Obamas press secretary in private life.

The topic was about when Mr Obama found out about Russian meddling and expelled the Russian diplomats and the steps taken to ensure the actual voting process retained its integrity.

Mr Shultz said that they had contacted the states and offered assistance to prevent intervention,a lot of states rejected the government input due to the possibility of administration interference of the voting process.

The question was did the Obama administration feel that the actual voting process was interfered with or compromised by the Russians, the answer was no,so why was the whole thing blown up and why did Mr Obama not come public with that information at that time?

He did seem to portray that at that time also much of the presidential time was spent criss crossing the country campaigning for the Hilliary camp.

Interesting how Mr Shultz got his start at age 19 by following a republican election candidate with a camera 24/7 looking for dirt or as a democrat spy in the Republican camp. The Republicans do the same thing but it gives an interesting insite as to how they term dirty politics.

Back off topic for a sec,Sky news is reporting that they are having a hard time identifying the remains, apparently people were sub letting the units to others some illegal and some not.

It must be good money in the government providing one a roof over your head then turn around and sub let it out for a profit.

They are offering amnesty to those who come forward.

It is like it is here, some reduced rent based on income, some no charge.

The only difference is you have the opportunity to actually buy the unit that you are in,it is based on you get help started then you improve your situation then you can become a home owner.

Not creating a life time of providing for.
