Default The 41 New Residential Projects In Detroit On The Way

    It is a impressive list.

What could be the largest change of all is how many of them appear to have proven track records behind them. Is it enough to move the needle? Economic expansions do not last forever...

A Thanks to Ms. Robin Runyan for the work put in to this.

Absolutely amazing and I think this is just the beginning. Reminds me of the city I grew up in during the early 90's. Downtown office space couldn't be given away so they started converting into condos. Then public transportation started improving. Restaurants, retail, museums and rec. centers poured in and on and on it goes. Now it's regarded one of the best and most expensive places to live in the world. Do I think Detroit will finally follow suit? You betcha. Give it a decade or two and let's revisit this thread

Shouldn't you be worried about how much extra water runoff these buildings will generate?

Don't be silly Gistok. We all know Detroit water runoff will be left behind in the "fake news" 5G world.

On a real note, I counted 15 projects completed, 15 being worked on, and 10 either stalled or cancelled. The only one I wasn't sure of was the Tech Town one and the new construction in Capital Park

FAKE NEWS - all the projected were completed.

Detroit is financially sound with huge amounts of tax revenue.

Infrastructure has improved and all is well in the Metro Detroit Area.

Please move below 8 Mile , Detroit loves everyone, and you'll be rich !!!!

Nonsense aside; The Oslo Building mentioned in the article quietly became a very nice restoration: https://www.fourteen56detroit.com/
