Default Are there any barns left in Detroit ?

As I drive thru the suburbs I see the most of the few old style barns left either falling apart or being torn down for new development. My question is are there any of those style barns left in the city of Detroit ?
I talked to a few farmers about this and they explained how they love those old barns but it is much cheaper to put up a new pole barn then to fix up the old one

The temptation is to say "No, they tore down The Olympia years ago".

I found this one near the corner of Kercheval and Pennsylvania, just east of Indian Village--

Thanks for posting the "barn" near the corner of Kercheval and Pennsulvania. I cannot think of any within the city of Detroit.

^^ Is that really a barn though? It's small for a barn and, looks like a house made like a barn. Those were popular back in the 20's and 30's

The Question is what was the intended use for the barn 100 years ago ? was it for a horse and a few chickens or just a nice garage to keep the model T in.

That is in Detroit, and it sure looks like a barn to me. It's behind a house, not standing alone on another lot and even if it did house the Model T, does that make it NOT a barn?
Also looks kind of large for just storing a car. A lot of barns were later used to store vehicles after horse and carriage were passeName: barn.jpg
