Windsor Mega Hospital

For sometime now plans have been afoot to consolidate Windsor's hospitals into a state-of-the-art new mega-campus.

The process has been moving forward at pace that would make any bureaucrat proud.....

At any rate, in the new Provincial Budget for Ontario, which came out about 2 weeks ago, a funding committment was made to go ahead w/detailed design and essential proceed to tender, likely in 3 or so more years.

That means they are supposed to have settled on the location [[one has been recommended).

Though that location on the outer edge of town remains controversial w/many for promoting urban sprawl and being less accessible by transit.
