Default What is the status of Palmer Park these days?

Thinking of a short term rental to escape the CA desert heat. I'm a 67 year old gay white man, wondering if I would feel safe living in the area for the summer. Some great buildings in Palmer Park and some great renovations happening.

I'm just letting you know that Palmer Park isn't the gay neighborhood it was 30-40 years ago. Yes there's Menjo's but that's it. Ferndale or downtown/Midtown would be your best bet...

Thank you for your candid reply. I never lived in Palmer Park, but I sure partied there a lot in the 70's.

They are refurbishing a lot of those apartments buildings there. Those were some beautiful buildings back in the 50's and 60's. Just be mindful, that crime exists in the area. Not like it was, back in the day.
