Hey whats going on forumers,

I am looking to do a photo essay on the D with a focus on the auto oriented infrastructure that in turn led to the landscape that we see today that came as a result of it. What id like to include in it is not just the Big 3, but also things such as abandoned, neglected infrastructure such as gas stations, roads, bridges anything that was built to support a city that built their transportation around the automobile.

This is not simply a "ruin porn" project, I despise that honestly, but more so a personal, more thought provoking artistic study on the subject with an historic view, as well as how it fits in with the current more optimistic direction that the city is heading.

What are some of the more interesting areas, installations, buildings, streets, etc, that I should consider?
