TJ's Grillworks Closing

I just heard that long time downtown restaurant [[23 years) TJ's Grillworks in the 150 Jefferson Building on the corner of Griswold and Larned is closing on Friday April 7th. They said that the rent was going up once again and they were priced out of business. Sad to see it go. It' one of the last places you can get a good full meal for under $8.00. It is also sad that big business kicks out the little guy.

I just talked to a person who works in that building, they said the owner is retiring

Rumor has it that Anita’s Kitchen is moving in, but we don’t have confirmation yet.
