Default I didn't want to search an old thread, but stolen classics ???

A priceless stolen Corvette has been chopped to pieces by a local gang.

Yeah, it's been brought up before, that South American criminals will disable a yachts $5000 Gps, but what about Grandpa and the dog's Gps. ? Can be done.

Maybe DPD might be a couple of hours late / slow, but better than nothing.

What about our local engineers ? Any input ?

Thousands come here from around the country, because Detroit is the holy grail. let's protect them.

Stolen, parts removed, cut into pieces and torched? This was a professional job. Not a local joy ride for sure.

Except that it didn't happen in Detroit, it happened in Southgate. Until, and if, they catch the perps, someone could've just used Detroit as a dumping ground.

"He had parked his champion Corvette with a 2000 Jeep Wrangler inside a trailer hitched to a 1996 Ford F-350 pickup in the parking lot of a Holiday Inn on Northline in Southgate.

Seems a little strange to me. Also why no video going out?

That's a pretty large rig. He probably had it parked nose out and on the far edge of their lot. If the thief entered from the drivers side, there's probably not much to see other than the rig driving away.
