Hudson's Site Building Thread

I see from the pictures they are now taking down the crane which built this building, and it was used to lift the windows into place. They have yet to place the windows where the exterior elevator is located. With the crane going away does anyone know how they will place the rest of the windows in their places?

It's almost completely down at this moment. They have installed building's own crane on top of the building for that use as well as move-in, etc.

That is what I was thinking. The second crane is to install the elevator window panels. The whole outside shell probably be covered by Christmas

Does anyone know when in 2025 the hotel is set to open? Anyone knows what retail will open in the Block part of the complex?

Prestige is a favourite of mine. You can slap it onto a lot of things that look really blah in my book, especially real estate, that tends to look the same. There are 3 million dollar homes that are just blown up versions of a more modest house that are described as prestigious. Same materials, same look, lack of colour and character; just larger. A lot of tasteless stuff passes for quality if you believe the hype…

My favorite is the stick-built walk up apts. with no lawns that are now "garden townhomes."

The hotel is planned to open in 2027.

I had noticed that work had slowed down on the Hudson Tower on that one side where glass is still needed. Will the exterior of the building be completed by years end?
