Seeing those pictures reminds me of the building in Philadelphia that they had to reconfigure, because at a certain time of the day the Sun would reflect off like a mirror and blind those sitting in traffic.
So, is Santa Claus gonna' be on the 12th floor like he always was..??

Love him or hate him but Dan Gilbert had done in 7 years what these city planners and developers before him couldn't do in 17 years for that site
This might be my last post since the west side of the exterior of the tower looks mostly complete.

This is great. It had only taken 4 years to build the tower from the time the foundation was laid for it. Bedrock and Gilbert had done great especially dealing with setbacks including the pandemic. I will still state that Detroit for the moment doesn't need more skyscrapers. There's plenty of land to build outward even without going to the nearby neighborhoods.
Hudson's segment begins at 4:16.
Local 4 News at 6 p.m. -- Sept. 21, 2024
Glass panels have been installed at the building's highest point.... Crews will now begin to take down the construction elevator on the north side of the tower. Hudson's Detroit is expected to be available for commercial tenants by 2025.

It is looking at another RenCen eyesore.
but hay, waddu i no?
Yes, too much glass, too tall.
For office space?
For whom?
RenCen is office space and empty.
They don't like the fact that this was built in Detroit let'sjust be real. Same with the Ren Cen. These are both beautiful buildings. One was scaled back, the other incomplete. But, it's great viewed from all the spoke streets. Also, from I-75 bridge the veiw of downtown and the Gordy Howe bridge is great!!! Imagine if all the buildings [[southfield, Troy, Auburn Hills, ect.) How transformed the City of Detroit would be. Notice when L. Brooks type of mentality left this Earth [[God bless is Soul), the transformation of the viewed towards the City as negative has been lifted and moving in a positive direction.
I don't get it. This tower exterior is not completed. The panels still haven't been installed on the north side of the building facing northbound on Woodward
