Totally vacuous in terms of meaning. You have to wonder how 10 or more people around a table accept these marketing dept sparks of brilliance…

I don't know the back story explaining their choice. Experience tells me they hired consultants, paid them too much money, and accepted the proposal because some powerful persons, or persons anointed by said powerful persons in the company, could not afford to lose face for wasting company resources.

    Probably that.

I mean, there are maybe twenty well worn catchwords used to sell everything from sneakers to condos that show how effortless a marketer’s job really is.

Prestige is a favourite of mine. You can slap it onto a lot of things that look really blah in my book, especially real estate, that tends to look the same. There are 3 million dollar homes that are just blown up versions of a more modest house that are described as prestigious. Same materials, same look, lack of colour and character; just larger. A lot of tasteless stuff passes for quality if you believe the hype…

Ah yes... subsidies "double dipping"... of course the city/state and DEGC have nothing to say on the matter...

GM's move to the Hudson site in Detroit could cause a subsidies 'double dip' [[msn.com)

Are you implying that it will take four more years to complete this tower?
