Sometimes it seems like Detroit won the lotto when Mayor Duggan stepped forward to lead this city. He is without doubt a problem solver of high order with political skills unmatched in this state demonstrated repeatedly with his ability to reach out to the business community, his own party and republicans in Lansing to bring everyone together and achieve goals moving the city forward as fast as possible.

If anyone missed his state of the city speech it is well worth the watch.
