    Default Freighter Hits Railroad Bridge

    Per a report at railroadfan.com, a freighter has struck the Conrail Shared-Assets bridge on the Rouge River. No further details available.

    Thanks for the heads up! I can watch the Port of Detroit in action here at
    work but that bridge is out of view. This one probably won't take three years
    to fix, which was about how long it took Wayne County to fix the adjacent
    Jefferson Avenue River Rouge "damn bridge" after it took a solid hit
    from a laker.

    If it does take three years to fix, that would make the commute around
    the upcoming I-75 Rouge Bridge construction zone a little bit easier.
