    You're not going to either.

I noticed as you reposted that item 3 or 4 times, as the time stamp kept shifting.

My posts here speak for themselves as yours do for you.

As for my accomplishments away from this place...... I'm not going to give you my personal CV, [[pun intended), as that would rather defeat the point of using a pseudonym.

Suffice to say, I am confident in my earlier statement.

Back to the Native-American drummer Nathan Phillips and the smiling Catholic high school junior. Here are both of their takes on what they were thinking and experiencing:

    Nathan Phillips - https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/21/us/na...iew/index.html

    Catholic teen ager: https://www.freep.com/story/news/pol...ry/2634008002/

Attempting to play his drums in the National Catholic Basilica to a larger crowd on Sunday, Nathan Phillips was turned away.

Edited to add: Buried in an old Washington Post news story: "Correction: Earlier versions of this story incorrectly said that Native American activist Nathan Phillips fought in the Vietnam War. Phillips said he served in the U.S. Marines but was never deployed to Vietnam." -Washington Post

Yup, Chump is like a good cut of Angus beef, well aged, but leave it on the counter for a coupla days without sticking it in the frying pan and it's gonna smell pretty bad, pretty soon.

Trump conceded to postpone his State of the Union speech until after the government shutdown is over.

It was a game of chicken and Trump swerved first.

Is that the first time in his life he's ever been spanked?

Don't get me wrong. I would give him the time of day. It would be the wrong time, but I'd give it to him.

    Then there's this idiot....

Ross also repeatedly stressed that federal workers should simply take out loans to cover their expenses while the government was shut down. He acknowledged they would have to likely pay some interest, but he said it should help them cover costs.

I watched that when he said it and right away thought how out of touch with the adverage amercian some really are.

But on the other hand I also watched a series of interviews on MSNBC of government workers, that took place in their homes, not many ghetto dwellers there.

One example was a woman who said she was living paycheck to paycheck and was selling personal items because she only had $1.06 in the bank.

She was also worried because she had just bought a new home and had to make her mortgage payment. The granite countertops looked pretty good in the background.

Living paycheck to paycheck is proably not a good incentive to buy a new house, roof or something happens then what?

Another one here locally furlough from the coast guard had a tree fall on his horse barn and trap 7 horses last night during a storm, and he was worried about making ends meet because of the shut down, owning a large property let alone 7 horses is not cheap in Florida.

Not saying there is no apathy but people do seem to spend to the limit without setting aside a fund for bad times or emergencies, even in the hood here everybody drives new cars and dresses in the latest fashions.

Shutdown aside it sure is highlighting people’s priorities in life.

According to huff post in 2015

In 2014, the average federal employee salary was $84,153, approximately 50% more than the average private sector worker earned. This discrepancy increases to 78% when benefits are included. The average federal worker costs the government [[aka taxpayers) $119,934.

Fun fact: Prorating those 2,293 deaths over the 17.3 years since 9/11 works out to 173 deaths per year for anyone forgetting 9/11. Also, ICE reported arresting illegal aliens with 1,641 homicide convictions in 2018. 1,641 is a bigger number than 13 or 50 and largely preventable.

Lol, Roger Stone was arrested by the FBI today. He was indicted by Mueller's federal Grand Jury on seven felony counts, including obstruction, making false statements, and witness tampering.

To quote Freddy Mercury: "and another one gone, another one gone, another one bites the dust!"

What do you all think he lied about and tried to cover up? Could it be that he colluded with Julian Assange and Wikileaks to release the DNC emails that the Russians hacked, thereby acting as a middleman for Russian interference in the 2016 election? Anyways, we'll find out soon enough.

Meanwhile, in other non-theory based news, during the longest ever government shutdown Nancy Pelosi and 92[[?) unnamed others tried to go on a multi country jaunt at taxpayer expense instead of compromising or negotiating to reopen government. Does anyone have a manifest list of who else was on Nancy's getaway tour or know long they had planned to be away?

Did you ever think that maybe they have other expenses? College tuition/loans for themselves and/or kids, taking care of parents, other family members, medical expenses including prescriptions? Maybe some have children with disabilities? No, I didn't think so. That's the blind eye you turn. "I'll take the mantle"...you seem to forget he said that.

    Nice desperate Trump Cult deflection.

Nancy Pelosi has zero to do with the shutdown, as I'm sure you're well aware. She wasn't even in power when Trump shut down govt. and Trump has always proudly owned it.

Just read this in a Fox article, and had to verify. Except for laughing out loud, I'm speechless. I would have loved to be a fly-on-the-wall when he initially gave the tat artist the request.

Trump's associates are like the evil henchmen in a comic book. Except if you wrote such a story, with such a wacky rogue's gallery of sycophants and toadies, everyone would say it's too crazy.

And who would have ever believed the right would support Melania as first lady. And stand by you-know-who no matter what he says or does...while clutching their Bibles. Follow the money............

A porn star illegal immigrant. And the "moral" religious right and "no illegals" crowds both love her. Just a tiny bit of hypocrisy.

We now have SEVEN of Trump's closest associates indicted/arrested for Trump campaign shenanigans with Russia. The religious right is gonna stand by their man, till the bitter end.
