It’s not a puzzle really. To get a solution in any negotiation both sides have to be seen to “win” under difficult conditions. They mutually pre-arranged to “walk away” from this meeting even though the solution has already been made. They started the meeting purely for “political theater”.

The solution will be announced at a meeting circa September 2020. Kim will denuclearize and get a free Trump Tower and the timing will cause our democrats to go apoplectic [[after they’ve worried about it could happen for over a year) and they will have to accuse Trump of colluding with the North Koreans just to stay relevant on CNN et al.

That's not Trump's style. He treats international nuclear diplomacy like it's a real estate deal where he can just show up and rely on his gut instincts and his ability to schmooze people into doing what he wants them to do. It's basically "Ready, Fire, Aim." That shit might work when you're haggling over the naming rights for a building, not so much when it comes to nuclear weapons.

Trump got played, he walks away with nothing and Kim walked away with added legitimacy and positive praise from the President that he can spin as a propaganda coup back home.

You forgot to scratch your carbuncle and explain that your Free Trump Tower will in fact be paid by the Mexicans.

LOL! I gotta remember that line.

Or like a hand grenade: Pull pin. Throw straight up!

Edit: I do that in Minecraft. The witches try to harm you by throwing potions at you. I found you can stand directly above them but far enough away that they can't reach you. They throw their potions anyway. The potions fall straight back down on them. They never learn. They keep trying.

    Stupid witches. It's hilarious.

Being he IS president maybe it is us that cannot tell our foot from our elbows?

At the very least he is a couple of days past puberty, unlike some other country leaders.

But you guys did not have a problem with the previous administration paying billions to other countries for the privilege of sucking their dick and even without a thank you kiss.

I do see progress though by categorizing Kim as the worst dictator when a few months ago you were calling our president the worst dictator.

Even at that you make no sense, you get all weak kneed and scared when it comes to nukeing them off the face of the planet but still cry when it comes to other means, either some are just clearly unable to make up their mind or just whine for the sake of whining.

It is simple either nuke them or leave them alone,2016 the world had ended because he was going to start WW3 now 2019 the world has ended because he has not.

Let him be,if he launch’s nukes at us we then just retaliate, worst case scenario millions die in the process but at least the couple people that are left will be able to say ... see I told you so.

Anybody is welcome to hop on a plane and straighten that little guy out because they know how to do it best,my guess no takers.

Sense we are still technically at war with them let’s move troops forward and bring it on,if Russia or China steps in,all the more fun at the party,my guess though is as soon as the body bags start coming back to the United States the same people crying now will be crying about a war they wanted.

Trump came home with a $15.7B order for 110 Boeing planes from Vietnam.

“President Trump did the right thing by walking away and not cutting a poor deal for the sake of a photo op,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said on the Senate floor Thursday morning.

Maybe North Koreans miscalculated thinking that Trump was under so much pressure at home that he would accept any terms to come home with something to distract from the attempted coup circus. If there are ever to be any future Kim-Trump negotiations, it probably helped that some prominent Democrats backed up the President on his negotiations.

Putting aside the desperation, idiocy and non-logic of Whataboutism, can you name such an instance?

Just one instance, please, where the U.S. "paid billions" to some dangerous third world dictatorship for the "privilege" of negotiations.

You never miss an opportunity to be intellectually dishonest, do you Oladub?

    FROM YOUR OWN LINK:
"Bamboo agreed to purchase 10 787-9 Dreamliners worth about $3 billion, while VietJet’s order is for 100 737 Max planes valued at $12.7 billion, Boeing said Wednesday. VietJet’s 100-plane commitment was unveiled at the Farnborough air show last year."

Soooooo how exactly are you crediting this to Trump when this deal was agreed upon a year ago, before this summit was even conceived?

Meanwhile, Otto Warmbier's parents were none-too-pleased that Trump absolved Kim Jong Un of all guilt in their son's death.

    https://www.npr.org/2019/03/01/69938...of-kim-jong-un

And then there's this concession already granted: U.S. cancels annual military exercises with South Korea.
    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/militar...-korea-n978111

Kim couldn't have played Trump better if he tried. This summit was a huge victory for Kim Jong Un. He got the President of the United States to sing his praises and treat him like an equal on the world stage and gave up nothing in return. Now Kim gets to go back to his country with a massive propaganda coup while 60% of Americans are wondering why our President flew to Vietnam to fellate a dictator.

$3B + $12.7B = $15.7B just like the article said. You must have missed the sentence from the article "The accords were signed in the presence of Trump and Vietnam’s President Nguyen Phu Trong."
There is a difference between "commitment" and a signing". Think of it as there being a difference between an engagement and a wedding. Think of it as a signing. Obviously you see this differently than some Democratic leaders mentioned in my other previous link. I'll repost that link for your enjoyment.
Trump gets praise from unlikely corners for walking away from Kim
Schumer, Susan Rice, and even Pelosi don't seem to be frothing like you are. That is just froth I hope. How's the coup going?

    Who do you mean?

Kim Jong Un? 36 years old, or Justin Trudeau; 47 years old?

Also, what does Chump have to do with the purchase of commercial aircraft in deals that are worked out between two corporate entities?

Not very well, given that Putin's idiot puppet even has his own lawyer testifying against him, detailing his lifelong criminality.

Dotard is toast and his moronic Cult are in for a very rough ride.

If we would have smoked Kim 2 years ago the dust would have already settled.

The Saudis took out the reporter.
The Russians took out the flipped spy.
Kim took out most of his family with one smack dab in the middle of the airport.
The Chinese killed or imprisioned 20 US spy’s between 2010 and 2012.

People are upset about the Saudi’s and the Russians but not about Kim or the Chinese?

I think it is only fair that we take out Kim and Maduro,it is our turn to clean house.

I never posted anything about the aircraft, the link posted explains that.

Not to mention private purchase or not it still had to be approved and signed off by the state department, because it is Vietnam after all.

Notice that while we are on the subject of Vietnam, something has happened there, they have been embracing capitalism and allowing independent buisness to thrive.

So,socialism did not work in Russia,Venezuela,Vietnam and numerous other countries but yet here we are.How come people do not want to move to those countries and enjoy the free perks instead of trying to implement them here, much easier and they can enjoy the benefits of eating dirt now.

Tru-duh looks like he is 22 kinda like the French guy Macron, maybe that is the French blood, you can be 47 and look like your 22.

But for the most part I have always placed a bit more stock in the advice of a 70 yo verses a 45 yo,something about that been there done that advantage.

Let me guess,he will be impeached by Monday.

You guys remind me of that insurance commercial where the guy has a fishing pole with a dollar on the hook, every time it came within the reach of the girl,he yanked the pole just out of her reach.

Face the reality, they are just dangling little bits just out of your reach because of the entertainment value of watching you jump every time, but never able to grab the prize.

It is like he is employing the whole Democratic Party,or the ones that are gullible enough to buy it,in a live country wide reality show.

It seems to be working pretty good as a distraction because your president Trump is getting things done, while you are devoting all of your time and energy fishing.

I guess it would have been a bit easier to just stick you guys in the corner for a time out,but where is the fun in that.

Face it,instead of feeling the Bern you got MAGAed.

You realize Dotard's lawyers aren't scrambling to avoid impeachment, right? That's a relatively peripheral concern. Impeachment is probably the best possible option for the WH scumbag going forward.

They're feverishly working to fight imprisonment and the end of his family crime syndicate. Dotard is facing a mountain of felonies at federal and state level. This accidental Presidency will be the end of that enterprise.

With his Donald McRonald taste, if he ever ends up in prison, he'll be the only President who wouldn't complain about "prison fare".

    Peloski’s words in 2016

Trump will never be president and you can take that to the bank.

The polls in 2016 had Trump as never becoming president.

All the media had Trump as never being president.

The entire DNC had Trump never being president.

Flash forward to 2019 and the most popular question asked of the DNC and potential incoming presidential candidates.

What is your strategy for beating Trump in 2020.

If what you believe in your mind is the truth and factual, why would they even waste time trying to even talk about strategy on how to beat Trump in 2020?

It's a wonderful day for Boeing, its suppliers and employees and makes a very small dent in our balance of trade problem. Why it will probably even indirectly help Seattle McDonalds' workers and for that matter even maître d's in restaurants where Canuck [[post 2722) might hang out should he/she visit Seattle.

It's amazing [[and bizarre) the world you've constructed for yourself.

What does the fact that Pelosi [[and Trump, and the RNC, and everyone) never expected Americans to be stupid enough to vote for a lifelong grifter have to do with whether or not Trump is facing an avalanche of felonies? You're also clueless about polling, which deals in odds, not predictions, and which were accurate.

But whatever makes you feel better while he's in federal penitentiary, I guess. You can always hang your hat on the fact that there are lots of stupid Americans who put a felon in the WH before he was hauled off to prison and his criminal empire was dissolved.
