Default Automotive Wheel Manufacturers in 1936

My father listed his occupation from 1934-1937 as a press operator, forming steel wheel components; he lived on the near west side and later worked for Firestone at Vernor and Trumbell.
Anyone know of companies of that era engaged in that line of manufacturing at that time? Firestone Steel Products had a location in Akron about that time, later in Wyandotte. Did Kelsey Hayes or Budd have plants in Detroit in the 30s?

My dad worked for 24 years at Budd Wheel on Charlevoix at Conner and his brother worked at Kelsey Hayes on Livernois and McGraw . There was a Firestone on Henry street just before Trumbull across from the Franklin school playground that was torn down when I -75 was built . W. Vernor ended at the Michigan Central Train Depot by Michigan ave.
