Perhaps the most impressive death by natural causes ever. The CIA only tried to kill him like a thousand times.

Wikipedia's Assassination attempts on Fidel Castro is a good read.

That cat had a few more than nine lives.

You think he found one of her emails laying around? Poof

Interesting to me being in Cuban heavy Tampa and watching the mourning period over there,he seems to have a strong majority following, are we to tell them it needs to be different?

I have to admit that as a people they are some of the nicest and welcoming that I have ever met and some really talented craftsmen that can build from nothing.

Before the embargo 80% of our sugar came from Cuba, that supply after the embargo went to US sugar who still recieves heavy subsidies.

638 times, according to the head of Cuban counter-intelligence. Possibly correct, however, the higher the number the better Castro looks, doesn't it?

You know, even in the 80's, we had stealth bombers that could have dropped a caseless bomb into his fireplace from ten miles up and nobody would have known what the hell had happened. If we had wanted him dead that bad, there were much simpler, much more effective methods than poisoned cold cream, or cigars, or whatever.
