    Default Patton Park baseball fields

    Saw city workers tearing out the last of the bleachers of baseball diamond #1 on the Dix side of Patton Park in southwest. Looks like the light poles are already gone. Not sure if the Cabot side diamond will be torn out too. A ton of memories of playing baseball and softball at Patton.

    Are they being replaced with something else? I haven't kept up with this story.

    Any chance ill-itch scrapes up enough screening on his pizza deliveries to prop up the national sport? Not like he's missing any flat-out brownfields, heck, he wouldn't even have to tear down anything.
    Might even get to use local talent at the end of it...
