Canoe the Rouge THIS Saturday and help cut the ribbon on the new launch!
Join us this Sat. Oct. 8 for the annual Rouge paddle on the Lower branch at 10 am. The 1 1/2 hour trip will end at Goudy Park with a ribbon-cutting at the new launch followed by cider and donuts. Hard-working volunteers are keeping the route open despite the recent rain that rearranged some trees. Bring your own boat or rent a canoe or kayak from Heavner for $45, shuttle your boat $10. Meet at 3600 Commerce Court, Wayne. Let us know you are coming and if you want to rent, reserve a boat.
