    Finally, this intersection is being repaired. MDOT finally heard my prayers.

    Maybe they got a grant from the Clinton Foundation after Bill stumbled.

    specifically, what is being done? A complete repaving?

    was just by there on lunch, it appear the whole intersection on the west half has been torn out to the underlying dirt. i would assume they will do the east half after. So whatever they repave should be an all new concrete base.

    Michigan avenue through Corktown would benefit from a rebuild. Only this time, with less lanes for cars, wider sidewalks, protected bike lanes, dedicated bus lanes and more pedestrian crossings.

    But there's nothing there any more? Even Navin Field doesn't exist -- from what I've been told.

    Now if only the Trumbull over 94 bridge by WSU Matthai field would return......?

    Nothing in Corktown? Ray you really should visit sometime, you are very much out of the loop.

    Zacha, the Trumbull bridge has been open for at least a couple days now...
