    Default Metro Detroit Wall Map

Anyone know where I can get a large wall map of Metro Detroit including Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Monroe counties. I prefer not to buy online. Its for a office/business. Thanks!

Do you want a wall map for decoration? Office Max may have a plotter and a free on-line map source. How about a projector plugged into a laptop zoomed into the metro Detroit area? What is the function of the wall map?

I agree with bibs. The office supply stores typically have a decent assortment of wall maps you can buy.

Not for decoration need for business routing deliveries. Checked Staples and Office Depot they only have USA maps.

I would try Kinkos and see if they can print a blown up map.

Maybe a AAA city map? Or you could get a couple of those county road almanacs, pull the pages out and composite them together on a corkboard.

When I worked for the city in the research end, part of my job was sourcing and using large wall maps of the city and the metro area. We used to use a local supplier who made them for all of the local courier and delivery places. They also distributed the maps to office supply and stationary stores around the area. But, I suppose with the advent of the internet, Google Maps, smartphones, and GPS, like so many other things, this business has probably gone the way of the dodo bird.

I traced it a bit, and the company we used to order from has been absorbed, along with most other U.S. map producers, into the Kappa Map Group. They do produce a southeast Michigan wall map.

Another outfit that still seems to be around, and produces wall maps of Michigan cities, is Metro Graphic Arts in Marquette.

Thanks! I've always wanted one of those maps for the Detroit. The second link sounds like what I'm looking for.

The Metroparks have a good free map. Stop and ask for one at the booth when you enter. They have the try-county map on one side, maps of the individual parks on the back.
