Default Photos of old NW Detroit neighborhood

Anyone know a person who knows where the bodies are buried from Northwest Detroit?
I'm not really looking for bodies but photos of the store fronts along Grand River and Greenfield from the 50's and 60's.
Many of the buildings are gone and all the businesses have left that were in them.
Ray 1936 knew a lot but I'd sure love to find an old city employee that knew that area.
Who would still have photos [[from that time) in city government?
Even the newspapers have ditched wire photos of that time.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

It might be quite pricey, but you should try to see if they have the images you are looking for.

Awesome photo. Memories of shopping their in the late 60's early 70's with my folks.
It was only a short drive away but it seemed as if we were in a different city!
