    Anyone remember the Pig & Whistle? where was it located?

    During the early-to-mid 20th century, the Hollywood location was part of a larger chain. However, that group of restaurants never expanded beyond the West Coast. If there was a Detroit area restaurant named Pig 'n Whistle, it was unrelated:

    Pig & Whistle is actually an extremely common name for British & Irish pubs.

    My mother wrote about a place called Pig & Whistle. It had to be Detroit, the year was 1952.
